Alrihkh I concur with Carsten’s view of the band. I, too, often research bands on Progarchives. They are a great source for reviews on prog bands. I sense a slight touch of Opeth in a few songs, as well—in the pace the rhythm section sets. Overall, this is a fine effort by Khadavra. The nice layering of sounds create shimmering, progressive soundscapes with diverse moods. I like the prevalence of the mellotron throughout. 7.5/10. Favorite track: Kollektiv.

Carsten Pieper Another proggy band fro Sweden (I think I found in Abnormal Listening Habits' abnormally huge collection). The Progarchives say "Influenced by diverse progressive acts the band's music is showing a slight retro appeal." Well, I wouldn't call that "slightly retro" but that's very fine with me. I often feel reminded of calmer mellotron-laden Crimson as channeled by calmer early Anekdoten, which also is very fine with me :-) Favorite track: Dissolve.

robderr First listen - can hear the 70’s influences, love the musicality and range of instrumentation. 👍 so far.
